The Early Birds get some worms

I just left the sale at the Davie Thrift Store on Stirling and I found two pair of flat shoes in my size and they are Naturalizers.  That's right! Naturalizers in my size.

They only cost me $5 each and they are in great condition.  LOOK like new.  That's right I said like new.

The owner told me when I was paying for these shoes that they had just come into the store Thursday nite. 

Look them over and tell me .......I know .......what at buy#*#*#*#*#*


So ladies you know if you want the best you've got to be the first.

Hurry, hurry, don't be late

Last weekend (4/21) I had a play to attend in Lauderdale and I was running late and if you know me I don't like to run late. I didn't know what I wanted to wear so myself said,  "place an outfit on your sofa to vision what it might look like on" and I did.  This burgundy and biege 2-piece is by INC and you know that an outfit by INC cost a lot in the department stores today, but for me I paid $10 from a consignment shop on Stirling road called "Another Chance" and the shoes came from Goodwill for only $4 and the earring and braclets totalled $4. 

Ladies I know I am a true bargin shopper and thank you so much for agreeing.

And a word of advice, you just keep on thrifty store shopping!

My blue mood outfit

This outfit you see laying on my sofa is so comfortable.  Now just imagine a blue lake with waters moving very slow and softly as the wind blows and it just you and nature floating on your Yacht ............ Okay come back to earth! 

This blue and gray pin stripe Ralph Lauren outfit came from my favorite shop "the Davie Thrifty store" on Stirling and it only cost me $5.  What a buy, but it is 100% linen and you know what that means.......dry cleaning.  YEP!!

And the wedge denim shoes came from Goodwill Store on 56th street in Hallandale for only $4.

Ring around the rosie

Ring around the roses, my top is full of posie.

 

The floral top that is hanging in front of my bedroom door (to your left) came from the American Thrift Store, located at 330 So. State Rd 7 (441) you know right behind Denny's and this is a big store. Check out. 

Look at the colors in this top. They are just gorgeous too me.....can you see the mauve, pink, the biege and burgunday. Just popping out at you.  
This top is 100% cotton and wash and wear ...... what a top!  And it's St. Johns Bay. That right St. Johns Bay and I only spent $2 to get it. Yep!

And the burgundy slacks (above) are "New York Company", 100% polyester and I got them from the Goodwill Store in Hallandale near the railroad tracks.  You need to check them out too.

So you just keep on Thrifty shopping and enjoy your life.

Dress Down Day ....................HEY! ! !

Well, since it didn't rain as forecast on Thursday, the weekend is right around the corner and I am going to dress all the way down.  Ya, all the way down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The dress you see to the right is my get loose dress.  I let it all hang out.  I mean, all of it is hanging.

This brown and beige summer dress is wash and wear, and only cost $3 and the shoes too.  Check it out. 

I purchased it from the GoodWill Store in Hollywood.  So stop by and look around when you have some free time. You might find something you can use and think Thrifty.

Rain, Rain Go Away

It was forecast TODAY that there will be bad weather FOR the next couple of days and when the weather is bad I love to wear bright colors.  That's right---- the brighter the better.  This outfit you see below is my rain, rain, go away outfit.

I purchased it from a consignment shop on Stirling called "Another Chance.  The owners name is Karen and she is very nice and friendly.   I have known her for several years and the clothes in her shop are top quality and the clothes are marked down each month.

So if you get the time check out the store.  IT is before you get to that restaurant called "The Ark" you know, that all you can eat sea food place.

Peek-a-boo - - I see U

I am sitting at my desk (right now) at work bored silly, so I thought "You need to add another picture to your blog" and this is the picture I picked.  I know it's not in color, but any who.

The top in this picture is so gorgeous.  Really......... I wish you could see the true colors.  It's biege and black and it's a good top to wear when you are feeling fat because it makes you feel pretty.  Can't you see the pretty on me!  peek-a-boo..........................

This top only cost me $5 and I got it from the Goodwill across from the Dolphins Stadium.  You know the one on University before you get to 183rd Street.  So when you get the time check it out and remember I am a Thrifty Store shopper.

Look at the dress not the car

I have mentioned in some of my blogs that I love black and white so I wanted you to see this black and white dress.  Stop looking at the car.  I know, I want one too!  But let us look at this dress.  It is so good for this hot weather we have been having and it is so comfortable.  Wash and wear, a plus and it only cost me $3 that's why I'm wearing the dress not the car.

Clearing the Air

Yesterday I made a statement,  because I was I wake up with some attitude, but any who, I said that I was a $3 girl and I need to clear this up. 

Yes, I said it, but I meant (now don't I sound like a politician) that $3 is what I usually spend at the Thrifty Stores I frequent, but I have spent as much as $10.  I am a big spender.

My Survivor Top

This morning I got up feeling pretty louzy, so I put on this top. It's my survivor top. It is so friendly. Can you feel the love.

I'm going to try to describe it for you, but beauty is usually in the eye of the beholder. 

Anyway, this top has small ribbons threaded throughout the fabric.  I hope you can see the true color on the right.  It's a Sigrid Olsen design ....60% rayon and 40% nylon.  Wash and Wear and that's a plus. 

I spent $3 for this top and you know that's my price.  I am a $3 girl not a dollar more!!!!!

There's no stopping me NOW

I love to shop and at such great prices I will shop until I drop.  There's no stopping me from locating all the Thrifty stores in Miami and Broward then sharing with you the great buys.  If I knew then what I know now I would have saved alot of money.

So enough of the small talk.........Look at this top and shoes.  I got the top for $3 from the American Thrifty shop and the shoes I got from a Goodwill Stores in Hallandale on S.W. 56th Street.  Oh yea, they only cost $4.

It's Summer Time

I saw this black and white summer dress in the Thifty store in Davie so I bought it.  It only cost me $5 dollars and the black and white shoes I had to have them so I got them from the Goodwill Store for only $3 and they look great. I added the red and silver accessories to the picture just because I wanted too make the picture nice.

I love the way black and white looks on.  It is so rich!

Color goes a long way

I have been trying to find some manikins so you can see how the clothes look when worn, but those things are so expensive which would defeat what I am blogging about, so guess what you're gonna have to see me in the clothes. Whatcha think about that?

 I know, I know, no more --- I can't take all those nice things you are saying.

There is nothing like color so make sure to incorporate it in your wardrobe. 

 This top goes with so many of my slacks and I like that.  I think that  was why I purchased it, but NO that's a lies.  I purchased this top because it was so, so, so cheap.  It only cost me $3 and the earrings were $1.  Yes, you are so right the braclets were on another post and I added them to this one just for more colors.   The shoes they were to expensive and I got them for only $5.  Yes, I just spend to much for them, but you know they look real good on.  

Now I got these items from different Thrift Stores; 
1) the earring came from the Goodwill Store across from the stadium the Dolphins play in;
2) the top came from the Goodwill Superstore in Hallandale and;
3) the shoes came from a little Thrifty stores I found off of University. 

So don't forget to think Thifty and save your money for more thrift store shopping!!!!! YeaH

What a Deal........what a deal

I had to show you an outfit I got 2 weeks ago.  What a deal.......The blouse cost $.50 ----- the shoes cost $3 and the two pieces came from the Davie Thift shop. 

Now the pants cost me $1 and I got them from a church right off of Hollywood Blvd. that had a little Thifty store.

I wore this outfit to work and the ladies I worked with didn't believe me when I told them that I am a bargain shopper!  And you know a girls got to do what a girls got to do...........................!

The Nite is Young

I was getting bored tonite sitting home, so I thought I'd dress up and go out for a couple hours. And this outfit is what I think I'm going to wear.

The blouse and skirt cost me $3 each and the shoes you know I don't remember how much I paid for them but they look nice with the outfit and I'm going to wear them.  What do you think?
