My event dress - -and black hat

I need a mannequin real bad.   I had to take this picture on my bed.  I hope you can see that dress, hat and earrings.

I got this dark pink and black dress from the American Thrift Store on 330 S. State Rd 7 (441); 954-962-4983 and it only cost me $5 and the label shows that the designer is Danny & Nicole New York.

*****At the time I needed a dress for an event I was going to and I needed to look good or nice so I got this. 

***The hat came from the Goodwill Store locate on Taft Street for $1 and it brought this look together when I wore it out.

So remember you don't need a lot of money to look nice just patience and a good Thrift Store to shop in.

Goodbye Issac - - Do come back

Tropical storm Isaac decided to come into my town with alot of wind and rain. Some nerve!!!!  Now I was stuck inside the house all weekend and Monday.  I'm going stare crazy.   So to calm down I decide to take a picture of an outfit I got from one of the Thrift Stores I like to visit and share it with you.

 This black & white floral Liz Claiborne pant outfit is so comfortable on.  It's 100% cotton and that means wash and wear.  I got this outfit from another one of my shop that had to close.  It was located on Hallandale Beach Blvd., and I miss it so much.  They had so many nice outfits there.  This outfit  only cost me $5. 

 

To dress up this outfit I usually accessorize with the color red because red is a color that demands respect and like Aretha Franklin said I want R-E-S-P-E-C-T .  When I DON'T want any attention in his floral outfit  I accessorize with black. 

 

The black shoes and red shoe cost $3 each.

 

So ladies when it stops raining I'm going to the Davie Thrifty Store on Stirling Road and see if Stacy has any new clothes today!

Today I got this beautiful silver necklace from Thriftarella's.   It's sliver knitted chain like necklace with silver, white and black stone added and it looks great with my earrings.  And you know I’ve got to dress up and show off this necklace this evening somewhere.  Even if I have to wear it at the grocery store!

Can we talk today? I just need to express myself.

I needed some white shoes for the Summer, but couldn't find any I liked, so I got these shoes because they made my feet look small and they were comfortable. 

I got them from the Goodwill Store down the street from my house.

Not bad I say.

 I  just wished I knew about these Thrift Stores when I was younger.  It could have saved  alot of money I paid in interest rates on my credit cards and I can sure use it now.  You know what I mean?

Anyway don't forget to keep Thrifty store shopping if you DARE!

Old shops, New Shops, G00d Buys $ $

Today I was in the Hollywood area doing nothing when I ran up on a consignment shop "Two Timers" that I use to be frequent alot when they were downtown and now the are on Hollywood Blvd. They have everything and anything you need in there.  There address is 2325 Hollywood Blvd. Hollywood FL 33020 or give them a call at 954-923-8501.

I got this 2 piece navy and gold pin stripe

from them a couple of years ago for only $10. 

The suit still looks nice and I am still wearing

it.  You see I needed it  for a job interview

and I got that  job!

 

So if you get some free time on your hands

go and check out the shop.  They have

a lot of designers clothing,  jewlery, 

shoes etc......

Just keep thrifty store shopping if you dare!!!!!!!  



P_rp__ is a neat color; I think

I saw this purple and white sleeves top at the Goodwill Store on Hallandale Blvd and I had to get it because it has been so hot this Summer and I can use some more sleeves tops.  It only cost $4.50 and the inside tag reads DOTS.  

Now the straight leg purple jeans I got from a Thrifty Store that was located in Davie that went out of business.  The owner told me that she had to close her store because she could not run the store and take care of her elderly mother. 

I really miss that shop!  It was right across from were they had all the Davie Rodeo's.

Another Chance Consignment Boutique has been serving South Florida for 16 years, and is owned by animal lover, Karen Azar.

Karen's motto is "expensive quality at inexpensive prices."

She offers upscale, current and trendy clothing for women, jewelery, decorative housewares and small furniture. Many of the items for sale are new.

This popular store has 3500 active accounts. Clients receive a 50-50 split, one of the few consignment shops that still offer this arrangement.

Hello fellow bloggers, today I had some free time so I thought I'd sit down and tell you about some new clothing I found.

On your right I want you to take a look at this cute carmael summer dress $5. The inside tag designer's name is "Captain MS Sasha Bones" and I never heard of them before, but I got so may compliments when I wore this dress that if I could find more clothes by this designer I would buy them.  It made me feel like I was 21 again.

And the shoes you see there they also came from the shop listed below for $5 made by Boutique9 ........beauty and cheap!!!!!   Yeap!
